In Progress...

There are some days when all is right in my little corner of the world. Today is one of those days. I am spending my day coloring tadpoles, coyotes, earthworms, and various other prairie critters. This comes after working out the UX kinks for an ecosystem interactive in the new Adobe XD. It's pretty easy to do, doesn't take a lot of time, and makes UX work cost efficient for a very small team to pull off.

The Oyster Book - Multitouch iBook for iPad

Things have been really busy, so I haven't posted anything in a while. I thought I should break the dry posting spell with this project that was completed over the summer. Currently, this is just a proof of concept and isn't yet available on the iTunes store. Hopefully soon. I did all artwork and design for this piece. John Shepard of CGEE did all the copy.

The D-Word…

Doodles…

Look over my shoulder in a meeting, and this is what you will see. Some folks think to doodle means to tune out what's going on around you. That's not the case. Theres a fantastic TED talk about how doodling helps memory and creative processes. See below!

Dallas Recycle Video

A few character designs and screen shots from a video created for the City of Dallas.

Macroinvertebrates

Small critters in fresh water streams. Some indicate high water quality, while others are present most often when the water quality is low.

Monkeys

I drew these hanuman langurs for a class. I think this species is really kind of creepy.
